Tuesday, American Mobile began visiting the City of Norwich. They have a large white RV-style van specifically refitted and designed to accommodate to dental patients. It is literally a mobile dental office, offering quality treatment and willing to accept any private insurance or Medicaid. Dr. Charles Randolph has been practicing dentistry for 37 years. Dr. Randolph practiced in Westchester and attracted a number of politicians and celebrities as patients, but now he is retired. For the last two years, Dr. Randolph has been working with American Mobile Dental to try and bring quality health care to regions struggling with shortages in both certified dentists and institutions willing to accept Medicaid.

“It’s been the best two years of my life ... people we’ve been treating here are so much more appreciative,” said Randolph. “There was a huge need upstate. The more we looked into it, the more we saw a need,” he said.
