NORWICH – The Chenango County Council of the Arts is pleased to announce this year’s award recipients from the Members Exhibit. “Best of Show” went to Deborah Crossman for her obvious high skill, technique and execution represented in all three of her pastel paintings. She will have a one-woman exhibit in the 2007/2008 exhibit season at CCCA.

In the Painting Category, Martina Stolarcyk won first place for her pastel portrait titled “Meditation,” Scott Higby won second place for his painting “The Erl King” and John Poggioli won honorable mention for his watercolor painting of a B&B in Scotland.

In the Drawing Category Jackie Gimson won first place for a mysterious pencil drawing, David Frye received second place for his unique engraving on glass of a textile mill in Cazenovia and JoLynne Fenger received a honorable mention for her pencil drawing titled “Martin.”
