UV ‘storms past Wildcats

Unadilla Valley 65, Hancock 23

NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley won its fourth straight game after an 0-2 start getting 15 points, seven steals and six assists from senior Theresa Lazarus.

UV had its most productive start to a game this season as Katelyn Ross hit two three balls in the first, Lazarus scored six, while Hannah Johnson and Career Acre each had a pair of buckets. “We pressed them early on, and that dictated the whole game,” said UV coach Daryl Decker.

Johnson finished with 10 points and Ross added five steals and five rebounds.
