SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville closed the game on a 10-1 run and avenged an early-season loss to Waterville in winning its sixth straight game.

“Our kids stepped it up after the first quarter, and we made plays down the stretch to win the game like we did against Canastota earlier this week,” said S-E coach Jeff Barry.

Dowdall led with 15 points, Kurtz had 13 points and four steals, and Adrienne Cross posted a double-double scoring 10 points and snagging 10 rebounds.
