NORWICH – The local chapter of the Knights of Columbus, Council 211 will once again be sponsoring a bus trip to the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. The bus will depart from St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church parking lot on East Main Street on Sunday night at 11. The march itself begins at noon on Monday.

March for Life is an annual pro-life rally held in Washington D.C. on the anniversary of the decision in the United States Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade (January 23). The 2007 march was the 34th occurrence of the March for Life.

The rally normally follows a route which starts at the Ellipse of the National Mall and continues down Constitution Avenue and formally ends at the Supreme Court building.
