COPES CORNERS – In a showdown of Tri-Valley League division leaders, Milford toasted the Raiders to the tune of a 38-17 halftime advantage to roll to a crossover division win Tuesday.

Ron Alston scored 16 for the Wildcats and Dan Baxter 14 in the win. “We knew we had to play at a new level of competitiveness and quickness with the ball tonight, and we didn’t do that,” said Raiders coach Bill Hartman. “We, as a team, did not communicate well on the floor.”

Dan Moreno led G-MU (8-4) with 12 points and Peter Schmidt added 11. The Raiders play at Edmeston Friday.
