NORWICH – Campbell Auto Sales held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday at its new place of business on 128 Hobo Lane near Wal-Mart in Norwich. Gordon Campbell’s prior location in Oxford had been successful, but he felt that a move to the Norwich area would enable him to triple the selection of vehicles that he will be able to offer. Campbell said he’s proud of the fact that all facets of his business relocation have had local involvement, from financing his business and the purchase of his office equipment to the hiring of local plumbers, electricians and contractors. Officials from the City and Town of Norwich, the Chamber of Commerce, local lending institutions and employees helped cut the ribbon on the new operation yesterday.
