GREENE – MacKensey O’Hara led a six-point surge for Unatego midway through the fourth quarter to help her club stay unbeaten on the season Wednesday.

After Megan McDermott’s basket put Greene up 34-32, O’Hara scored on an inside move, then assisted teammate Blake Shelton on consecutive back-door layups to put her club up by four. O’Hara also blocked a shot late in the game and hit two three-pointers in the first half leading her club with 16 points.

“We just didn’t execute down the stretch, and they did,” said Greene coach Bill Case. “We didn’t defend as well as we needed to, and we made poor decisions on offense.”

Jessica Smith scored 12 points for Greene and McDermott tallid eight of her 10 points in the second half.
