EARLVILLE – Last night at around midnight, fire teams responded to a house fire that completely destroyed an Earlville residence on West Main Street.
Fire agencies from Earlville, Sherburne, North Norwich, Plymouth, Smyrna along with departments from Madison County responded to the blaze. The crews fought to control the fire for almost five hours, bringing operations to a close early Friday morning around 6 a.m.
Fire officials were unavailable for comment, but other agencies indicated no serious injuries were reported. The cause of is unknown fire and an investigation is currently under way.
