GREENE - “Keep Greene Clean Day” an annual event sponsored by the Greater Greene Chamber of Commerce will take place on May 5. This is an early reminder to save an hour or two in the morning that day. If enough people show up, our village will be clean in a few hours. Come to the Sherwood Inn any time from 8 a.m. until noon and get your street assignment.

All Greene scouts, teams, clubs, organizations, groups and individuals are urged to come and sign up. Each volunteer will receive a street assignment, plastic gloves and a plastic grocery bag.
