Heat wave hits Chenango

Temperatures in the low 90s drove many kids to the Oxford village pool Monday afternoon. Thermometers are expected to break the 90 mark again today, with more humidity.

FORECAST

Tuesday: Areas of dense valley fog this morning... otherwise mostly sunny. Hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s. Light and variable winds... becoming west around 10 mph this afternoon.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. Southwest winds around 10 mph in the evening... becoming light and variable.

Wednesday... Partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Humid with highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
