BAINBRIDGE – A farmers market will be held in the Village of Bainbridge on Saturday mornings, beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Latiefa Abdu-Shahid of Masonville will be holding the weekly event in the Village Park, adjacent to the flea market. The event will be sponsored by the Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce.

Under a state sponsored program, the market will allow area vendors to accept WIC and Senior Coupons, pending the successful granting of an EBT Coupon permit. Agricultural products including: locally grown fruits and produce, pasteurized dairy products, eggs, meat, honey, maple syrup, jam, canned produce and baked goods qualify for the program.
