SOUTH NEW BERLIN – Police have arrested the owner of a local bar, alleging he filed false paperwork and failed to provide insurance to his employees.

Brian F. Rizzolo, 51, South New Berlin, has been charged with three counts of first degree offering a false instrument for filing and one count of failing to maintain workers compensation.

Police said Rizzolo, who owns and operates the Southtown Pub, filed applications containing false information with the Chenango County Health Department and failed to provided his workers with workers compensation insurance.
