Greene rolls with offensive barrage

Greene 5, Windsor 0

WINDSOR – After a quiet first half steeped in defensive adjustments, the Trojans stung Windsor’s goal with a barrage of tallies to improve to 3-1 on the season.

With captain and center back Mary Rutz out with an injury, the Trojans spent the better part of the first half re-positioning players at new spots, said head coach Sue Carlin. “The first half reflected our adjustments on defense, and we were a little sluggish,” she said. “The second half we started to make connections and the defense was playing well together.”
