Gaelic Storm brings Celtic Rock to EOH
EARLVILLE – You've probably heard of them already, but if not ... remember that band in the steerage class party scene of Titanic that almost made you want to dance along with Jack and Rose? Yep, that was Gaelic Storm! The band plays two shows at the historic Earlville Opera House on Saturday at 6 and 9 p.m.
For the past ten years, Gaelic Storm has taken traditional Irish melodies and acoustic instruments and created original songs and arrangements full of life and rhythm. Known for their energy-laden live performances, Gaelic Storm has become one of the most popular bands in Celtic music today.
They have toured all over the world, usually performing over 125 days a year, and have appeared with bands such as Cowboy Mouth, Tonic, Sister Hazel, Gavin Degraw, Better Than Ezra, and Marc Broussard.
