NORWICH – Norwich Town Supervisor Dave Law, Highway Superintendent Stan Foulds and Councilman Charlie Brooks took the first ceremonial swing of the hammer to the old town garage on Rt. 32 before demolition crews razed the structure Wednesday morning. The dilapidated facility was replaced with a new highway headquarters adjacent to the East River Road property last year.
