Cyclones’ ‘C’ team stays unbeaten; ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams post shutouts

UTICA – The undefeated Cyclones "C" team downed Utica 23-7 to remain perfect on the season. On the game's fourth play, Michael Oralls ran it in from eight yards out with Killian Benedict adding the PAT. Oralls added another TD on a run of 15 yards, with Tristan Rifanburg adding the PAT In the third quarter, John Marvin added a five -yard TD run. Marvin also had an outstanding day of blocking for his teammates. Rifanburg passed to Kevin Porack for the PAT and Spencer Stone scored a safety for the Cyclones.

The defense was led by Matt Craig, with Storm Cook, Cameron Edwards, Landon Cummings, Everett Thompson, Benedict and Oralls stopping the speedy Raiders.

The Cyclones’ "A" team took on the Tri-Valley League Eastern Division champions, who were undefeated in division play, and went home with a 20-0 win.

Paul Wonka scored on a four-yard run in the first quarter, set up by Cody Bradbury's punt return inside the Raiders’ 25. Nate Ashton later scampered 56 yards in the third quarter for a touchdown, and Dallas Moryl raced up the middle for a 55-yard TD in the fourth. Ashton kicked a P.A.T. and Grant Brightman ran right at the Raiders for good yardage on the day.
