SHERBURNE – Employees at the Great American grocery store in Sherburne were notified this weekend that the store would be closing in approximately three weeks. Employees have indicated that the store will permanently close on or around Nov. 3. The Evening Sun attempted to reach store owner Ron Mies and Village of Sherburne Mayor William Acee, but neither returned phone calls seeking comment.
