Cyclones win three of four in final home game of season

NORWICH – The Cyclones’ “C” team reached the Tri-Valley League playoff finals with a 13-0 win over a stubborn Canastota Raiders team Sunday at Alumni Field.

The Cyclones’ blue offensive line of Storm Cook, Cole Brightman, Jordan Vinal, Matt Craig, Matt Parella, Eric Bishop, and Kevin Porack have controlled the line of scrimmage throughout the year.

On defense, Matt Murray, Matt Burke, Frank Garcia, Graydon Murphy, Trent Stone, Wheeler and Sutton stopped Whitesboro cold.
A Cyclones win Sunday at Cazenovia could create a three-way tie for the league crown with V.V.S. and Oneida.

Dennis Oralls was 6-for-8 in passing with three TDs and 120 yards – all in the first quarter.  Oralls hit Paul Wonka on a 31-yard TD pass, Cassie Sutton on a seven-yard TD toss, and Nate Ashton on a 30-yard aerial, with Ashton kicking the conversion.
