Rasely & Adams appear at 6 on the Square
OXFORD – Saturday is going to be a fun day of creativity and joyful music at 6 On The Square. That morning Ann Merriwether will be teaching a class on making needle felted holiday ornaments of natural fibers. That evening Tom Rasely and Scott B. Adams will be performing a very special ‘Music of the Holidays’ program.
Get inspired with Ann Merriwether, award-winning fiber artist, who raises alpacas and sheep at Nyala Farms. Ann will be teaching a class from 9:30 a.m. to noon, on the basics of needle felting - a method of felting using a hooked needle - that is easy and relaxing to do. All materials will be provided, with enough alpaca, wool, mohair and other natural fibers included to make 3 or 4 stockings &/or ornaments. Class is suitable for ages 10 and older. Class fee is $25; $20 for 6OTS members (refunded at the event). Don’t delay, pre-registration is required by November 29th to ensure materials are available.
