NORWICH – The British are coming! The British are coming!! Well, not exactly but the Mid York Shining Brass Band is as close as we can come. They will perform Saturday evening, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Martin Kappel Auditorium of the Norwich Council of the Arts.

The all-brass band is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has a very special program to offer. This includes the march, “In the Firing Line,” overture, “Lustspiel”; “Barber of Seville;” a wonderful arrrangement of Disney movie and show tunes; and much more.

Soloing with the band is trumpet viruoso, Jeff Stockham, a musician as much at home in the classics as in jazz.
