Dunkin’ Donuts:
• The Chenango County Planning and Development Department reported that the restaurant had recently applied for a building permit.
• A previously reported January groundbreaking date at the location on state Route 12 S. in the Town of Norwich has been postponed.
Peebles:
• March 13 is the target date for the grand opening of a Peebles clothing store on state Route 12 South in the Town of Norwich.
• The 14,500 square foot space, unoccupied since the early 1990s, is in between Plaza Lanes bowling alley and Verizon Wireless in the South Plaza, located south of the City of Norwich. The building’s exterior is near completion. Contractors expect to install interior lighting, shelving and other fixtures next week, according to a spokesperson. “The space was extensively renovated,” said Kim Bell, who represents Peebles’ parent company, Stage Stores, Inc.
• Merchandise will include brand name clothing from Liz Clairborne, Rafaella, Sag Harbor, Izod, Unionbay, Columbia, Van Heusen, Nike and many more.
• Stage Stores, Inc. operates nearly 700 stores in 35 states throughout the New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeastern and Midwestern states.
Residential Subdivisions reviewed by the Chenango County Planning Board in 2007:
• Town of Greene: River View Subdivision, Lake Mae Subdivision
• Town of Sherburne: Wescott Subdivision
• Town of N. Norwich: Adsit Subdivision
