NORWICH – After a weekend filled with low temperatures and high wind chills, a winter storm system will be moving into the area early today and lasting until 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

A winter weather advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. today until tomorrow morning. According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, snow will reach the Central New York area early this morning, and become widespread by late afternoon.
