No suspects yet in East River Road burglaries

NORWICH – Authorities are still looking for suspects in the burglaries at the log cabin business complex on East River Road in the Town of Norwich.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office at 337-1924.
The break-ins occurred sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to reports. Forced entry was used at all five businesses involved, Detective Sergeant Richard Cobb said. Property was taken in all but one instance, he confirmed. The specifics of what was taken are being withheld at the request of the Sheriff’s Office pending the outcome of the investigation.
“I hope they catch them,” said Jack Conklin, whose accounting firm was broken in to.
Also broken into was SECO Physical Therapy. Cobb said investigators are certain no personal client information was taken.
“All patient and client information is secure and accounted for,” he said.
