“Blue Parsley Boys” in concert Monday

NORWICH – The Monday Evening Musical Club of Norwich presents “The Blue Parsley Boys,” an amateur a cappella barbershop group from Hamilton. They will be featured in concert on Monday at the United Church of Christ in Norwich at 7:30 p.m.
The Blue Parsley Boys are tenors: Reg Wilson, Neal Roberts; leads: Mark Ohl, Pete Lawrence;  baritones: Bud Ballinger, Dan de Noyelles; and basses: Dave Lantz and Jim Lloyd. The group’s style and repertoire include religious anthems and spirituals, barbershop tunes, doo-wop, songs by Duke Ellington, Billy Joel and more.
The Blue Parsley Boys have performed all over Central New York and have delighted audiences big and small since 1998. The program is open to the public and all are invited to attend. A free will offering will benefit the club’s scholarship fund which has awarded scholarships yearly since 1954 to students from Chenango County who pursue a career in music.
