OV’s 10-game win streak snapped

Hamilton 10, Otselic Valley 5
HAMILTON – Hamilton jumped out to a 9-0 lead after three innings, and snapped Otselic Valley’s 10-game winning streak Friday.
OV committed seven errors and its pitching staff struggled with control during the early frames.
Taylor Duell had a triple for OV and David Cerasani drove in a run. “We got too far behind early on in the game,” said Vikings coach Dave Loomis. “We looked better as the game went on, and hopefully this game prepares us for sectionals.”
OV (12-4) plays at DeRuyter today.
