Earlville man arrested for burglary, assault

SHERBURNE – An Earlville man was arrested Saturday morning and charged with burglary and assault after forcibly entering a Sherburne residence.
Terry A. Price, 32, of Earlville, was arrested and charged with second degree burglary, third degree assault, fourth degree criminal mischief and second degree harassment. Price allegedly broke into a home located on state Highway 80 in the Town of Sherburne with the intent to commit a crime. He was confronted by the victim and another individual and struck them both before fleeing the residence. According to the Sheriff’s Department, the injuries were not serious enough to require medical attention.
Price was arrested early Saturday morning. He was arraigned in the Town of Sherburne Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail.
