OXFORD – The Oxford Community Band’s Thursday night summer concert in LaFayette Park will take place one-hour earlier than usual tonight. The concert will begin at 6 p.m., lasting for one hour, ending just prior to the We Are Mighty Lester band concert (which will take place at the opposite end of the park). The group will play moderate grade marches, show tunes and novelty selections for the enjoyment of the Oxford community. Both concerts are free of charge. For your own comfort, bring a blanket or folding chair, relax and enjoy some great music.
