NORWICH – Dr. Chunjie Yang, MD, has joined the General Surgery practice at Chenango Memorial Hospital. Dr. Yang, an experienced, highly skilled surgeon, recently moved to Chenango County from Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China, Dr. Yang completed residencies at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, and Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan.

As a member of the General Surgery Department at Chenango Memorial, Dr. Yang will perform procedures including hernia repairs, appendectomies, colonoscopies, colectomies, endoscopies, gall bladder, thyroid and breast surgeries. His office is in the Internal Medicine/General Surgery suite on the hospital’s first floor.
