CHENANGO COUNTY – Charges were filed against a clerk at the Country Store and Kitchen in Norwich Tuesday following a State Police investigation into the sale of alcohol to minors in and around Chenango County. The investigation was said to be conducted in order to determine compliance levels at numerous stores. 

Alyssa B. Cosens, 19, Sherburne, was charged with the prohibited sale of alcohol to a minor under the alcohol beverage control law. Cosens was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Norwich Court July 31.
