Late Norwich resident honored at Flanagan Field
NORWICH – Family members and friends gathered Monday evening to pay a special tribute to Joseph James Lorimer, who passed away unexpectedly this spring.
The 49-year old father of two will be commemorated in a plaque honoring his volunteer contributions to Flanagan Field of Norwich.
Lorimer built and maintained Field A at the Plymouth Street ballpark during the late 1980s and early 1990s, when his sons played baseball and he coached Little League.
