Grand jury indicts four

NORWICH – The Chenango County grand jury handed up four indictments Wednesday; one included a Norwich man charged with several counts of child molestation.

Domineco R. Spinella, 26, 66 Borden Ave., was indicted on three charges that allegedly took place in March in the Town of Norwich: second degree criminal sexual act, a Class D felony, sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors. Two other misdemeanor charges of forcible touching were alleged to have happened at the Oxford pool on July 7 and 31. Another charge, second degree criminal sexual act, a Class D felony, is said to have taken place July 3 in the Village of Oxford.

All of the charges concern the same 14-year-old female victim. Spinella remains in the Chenango County Correctional facility in lieu of $8,000 cash bail.

Frank J. Giacalone was indicted for first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a Class E felony, and driving while ability impaired by drugs, a Class D felony. The incident allegedly took place at 4:29 a.m., June 5 in the City of Norwich along Hayes Street.
