GREENE – A man involved in a hit-and-run with two parked cars fled the scene only to be involved in a separate accident a few miles away from the first.

Village of Greene Police arrested Nicholas A. Seymour, 329 Dunk Hill Road, Walton, and charged him with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and two counts of operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Greene Police Chief Steven Dutcher said Seymour was traveling down Genesee Street in the Village of Greene at around 10 a.m. Monday when he lost control of his Honda Civic and struck two parked vehicles causing extensive damage. Dutcher also said Seymour nearly struck a pedestrian who was standing between the two cars.
