Norwich falls short in match opener
ENDWELL – Despite Jacob Kelly’s stellar round to pace all golfers, Norwich was unable to claim an opening-match victory losing at Maine-Endwell, 198-216 Thursday at Endwell Greens.
Kelly had three birdies over his even-par 36 round including a birdie on the ninth hole. Frank Somich added a 41 for the Tornado, Ryan Hagen shot a 45, while Eric Walling and Ryan Cambron turned in matching 47s.
Norwich hosts Susquehanna Valley Tuesday.
