Sidney woman hit by truck

NORWICH – A Sidney woman was struck by a pick-up truck on Friday afternoon in the City of Norwich.
Susan Ditty, 61, Sidney, was crossing the street in front of Frontier Communications on East Park Place Friday when she was struck in the hip by a pick-up truck. According to Norwich City Police, Ditty was in the crosswalk when she was hit by a truck driven by Camile Spinelli, 53, of Havery, La.
Spinelli told police she didn’t see the woman in the crosswalk.
Ditty sustained only minor injuries. She was transported to Community Memorial Hospital, where she was treated for minor head injuries. The woman was released from the hospital Friday night. No tickets were issued.
