Youths charged with felonies for stealing Pop-tarts and loose change

AFTON– Three Afton teenagers who were arrested by State Police last week for burglary are now being charged with additional felonies for allegedly breaking into a separate business to steal Pop-tarts, Gatorade and Tylenol.

Following an investigation by the Afton Village Police, Donald G. Lockwood, 18, Caleb J. Gregory, 18, and Patrick J. Reynolds, 17, were charged with a second count of third degree burglary and petit larceny just a week after New York State Troopers arrested the three for felony burglary, accusing them of breaking into Henry’s Drive Diner to steal loose change from the register.

Afton police also arrested a fourth person allegedly involved with crime, Michelle A. Latsachack, 20 of Afton, and also charged her with burglary. The four allegedly entered McDowell and Walker Inc. and stole Pop-tarts, Gatorade and Tylenol.
