SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville school district will hold the first part of their Last Lecture series, at 7 tonight in the high school auditorium.

Kicking off the lecture series will be Sherburne social studies teacher Michael Rodriguez. Rodriguez, a teacher, father, soccer coach, Gulf War Veteran, community volunteer and member of the Faith Baptist Tabernacle Church, will give a lecture on a topic of his choice as part of the series. Rodriguez’ lecture is titled “American History’s Finest Lesson.”

The last lecture series has long been sweeping college campuses. The lecture series asks teachers and community members what wisdom would you want to pass on, if this was your last chance.
