The City of Norwich Police Department added one to their ranks during last Tuesday night’s meeting of the Common Council. Thomas Miller of Norwich was appointed to the police department and sworn in Tuesday. Miller will be filling a position that was vacated when another officer decided to transfer to a different department. His appointment was effective as of Oct. 26.
