S-E Drama Club presents “Life, Love and Everything in Between”

SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville Drama Club is at it again preparing their annual fall production consisting of an evening of one-act plays to be presented Nov. 14 & 15 titled “Life, Love and Everything in Between.” The show features 13 short one-act plays with students directing seven of them.

The student directors; Brittany Clark, Stephanie Joyce, Eliza Taylor, Luke Taylor, Bekah Riley, Eric Robertson, and Rachel Walters, are getting first hand experience at what directing really entails. They were responsible for choosing their one-act play, they decided how auditions should take place and ran the auditions, and then they were part of the casting decision process. They are also responsible for making decisions on lighting, sound cues, costumes, props and set.

The evening includes both comedic and dramatic plays and gives many students excellent actor opportunities. This year includes one student written play by Eliza Taylor, titled “If Only You Knew,” which addresses the issue of spousal abuse.
