Norwich bowlers beat S-E

NORWICH – Norwich opened its season last week with a shutout of Sherburne-Earlville, and added a fourth-place finish at the Thanksgiving Tournament held at Midway Lanes.
Norwich’s Dustin Jenkins earned top honors at the Thanksgiving tourney tossing a 699 triple. Jenkins also headed the Tornado in its win over S-E finishing with a 674 triple.

SHERBURNE – Morgan Reid finished with a 621 series highlighted by a 243 game in S-E’s 5-0 home victory over Little Falls at Hi-Skor Lanes.

The girl’s SE Bowling team had their first victory of the season against Little Falls last night, home at HiSkor Lanes. High games included Korilyn Perry & Kim Johnson with 188’s. Morgan Reid had 2 games of 243 and high series of 621.

OXFORD – Oxford stunned B-G in its season opener knocking off the Bobcats in five games last week, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 16-25, 25-18.
Marlena Frank and Jessica Roach each had six aces, Roach led with five kills, and Lauren Bullock totaled five assists.
Alli Roosa paced B-G with 12 kills, four aces, seven assists, and two stuff blocks.
