SOUTH OTSELIC – Otselic Valley rebounded from a blowout loss earlier in the week to notch its second win of the season on Wednesday.
Heather Eaton had 19 points, and Melanie Schutt scored 12 – three on breakaway layups in the first half – to pace to OV attack. “We didn’t turn the ball over as much in this game,” said Vikings coach Ron Graham. “We were smart and aggressive with the ball, and we played really good defense in the first half.”
OV hosts Richfield Springs Saturday at 1 p.m.

Wrestling

Norwich 30, Maine-Endwell 24
ENDWELL – Norwich took advantage of four forfeits, and combined with two decision wins grabbing a dual meet win at Maine-Endwell Wednesday.
Cameron Miller (112) won his first varsity match taking an 8-4 win over M-E’s Ryan Keller, and Mike Hull rallied in the third period recording a reversal and near-fall points to edge the Spartans’ Josh Garrehy, 6-2.
“The only downfall with this match is that we would have liked to get more mat time,” said Norwich coach Terry Hagenbuch. “We can field a full lineup, and it’s definitely nice to get the win.”
Norwich wrestles in the Clyde Cole Tournament at Oxford on Friday.

Amanda Tumilowicz picked up seven aces and four kills for the Storm, who visit B-G Friday.

NORWICH – Windsor overcame a shaky opening game to nip Norwich over the final two to edge the Tornado by a single team point Wednesday.
The Black Knights, winners of the STAC Thanksgiving Tournament last month, edged Norwich by 12 pins in the second game.
Pasquale D’Abbraccio rolled a 602 to pace the Tornado, who host Sus Valley today.

Last week, S-E defeated Little Falls by shutout with Philhower compiling a 631 triple and Andrew Symonds a 627.
