Sing Out and Celebrate Sunday
NORWICH – The Annual “Sing Out and Celebrate” choir concert will be held at the Broad Street United Methodist Church in Norwich at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Several choirs from surrounding areas will be participating. A handbell choir will also be performing There will be congregational involvement in singing some of our favorite Christmas hymns. The evening will culminate with the combined choirs singing the anthems, “Worship Christ, the Newborn King” under the direction of David Kirsch and the “Hallelujah Chorus” under the direction of Mary Mayo.
The evening’s free will offering will be donated to the food pantries, “Our Daily Bread” (Episcopal Church) and “Roots and Wings” (Catholic Charities).
Following the concert, refreshments will be served in the church fellowship hall.
