Health Department makes changes in public immunization clinics
NORWICH – Beginning on Jan. 1, in order to better regulate the flow of traffic and the timeliness of Chenango County Dept. if Public Health clinics, clinic times will be by scheduled appointment only.
You may schedule your next appointment on the same day you are seen or you may call 337-1660 to schedule an appointment for a future date.
“Please understand that appointment times are to better control the flow of our clinics and to prevent long wait times,” said Director Marcas Flindt. “Please be patient while we adjust ourselves to this new process.”
“We will continue to send reminder post cards, but do request that you call for an appointment when you receive the post card,” Flindt said.
In January, February, and March of 2009 all clinics will be held in Norwich at the County Office Building.

It is very important that we have a current copy of your child’s shot record ... bring this record to every clinic. If you have been sent to the clinic by your child’s physician, school, a business, or college, bring all supporting documentation. This will decrease the registration time.
“Thank you for your patience while we move through this transitional period,” Flindt said.
