CHENANGO BRIDGE – Norwich fell to Chenango Valley earlier this week shooting just 4-for-24 from the field in the first half to fall behind 21-9.
Caitlin Roberts scored 15 points for CV, who forced 23 Norwich turnovers. “They played a strong man-to-man defense and it was a physical game,” said Norwich assistant coach John Swertfager. “In general, we just could not find the basket. If we shoot it a little better and cut down the turnovers, we’re right there.”
Elisha Eddy scored 10 points for the Tornado. Norwich hosts Oxford Jan. 3.
