Applications still being accepted for MSC-Norwich spring semester

NORWICH – Students interested in enrolling full- or part-time at Morrisville State College’s Norwich Campus still have time to apply for the spring 2009 semester, which begins Jan. 20. New student orientation will be held on Jan. 13.
To apply, students will need a high school or college transcript, immunization record, 2007 tax information and a $40 application fee. Financial aid and scholarships are available.
“Classes are filling up quickly, so I encourage anyone interested in enrolling to contact the Norwich Campus as soon as possible,” Marsha Cornelius, interim director of the Norwich Campus, said.
To accommodate commuters and those who work full- or part-time, the Norwich Campus offers flexible scheduling, including a 4-day course schedule (Mon.-Thurs.) and several online and hybrid (combination of traditional lecture and online) courses.
The Norwich Campus offers associate degree programs in accounting, business administration, computer information technology, computer systems technology, criminal justice, early childhood, human services, individual studies, liberal arts and sciences: humanities and social science, nursing (1st year) and office administration.

The Norwich Campus is located at 20 Conkey Ave., adjacent to the Eaton Center. Follett Hall, the Norwich Campus’s academic building, features comprehensive wireless technology, several labs, group meeting space, bookstore and library.
Morrisville State College offers 19 bachelor degrees and a wide variety of associate degrees and options. Considered to be one of the most technologically advanced colleges in the nation for its ThinkPad University program and wireless technology initiative, the college recently became the first in the nation to comprehensively replace landlines in residence halls with individual cellular phones. Morrisville State College was also chosen as one of the top five colleges in the nation for campus activities by Campus Activities magazine.
