NORWICH – The Norwich High School Musical Club sponsors its eighth annual Community Valentine’s Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, February 14 in the school’s cafeteria.

Music will be furnished by the band, “First Class” featuring district teachers Matt Maholchic and Mark Sands joined by Bill Pomares and Paul Greenberg. The group plays a wide variety of music, including: 50’s and 60’s Rock and Roll, Country, Disco, Big Band, Swing and Ballroom dance styles. Between sets, DJ Steve Samsonik of Sunshower Productions will spin tunes.

Attendance at last year’s dance set a record. “The entire community is welcome. It's a great time for the family and I hope everyone will respond as they did last year,” said Sands, who serves as the musical club’s advisor and stage director.
