GREENE – Greene set a new team record in the shot-clock era for fewest points allowed in a rout of Deposit Monday night.

Deposit did not convert a field goal over the middle two quarters making just a single free throw in the third quarter.

Greene pulled away from an 11-4 first-quarter lead outscoring the visitors 29-0 in the second eight minutes. Eight different Trojans scored in shooting a combined 14-for-16 from the field. “It was nice that everybody on our team had a chance to contribute tonight,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton, whose club improved to 15-0 this season.
