BAINBRIDGE – Greene asserted itself in the second half starting the third period on a 14-0 run to win its final tuneup before Class C sectional play next week.

The Bobcats (1-19) limited their first-half turnovers and shot 53 percent from the field to take 31-29 lead into halftime. Shane Cornish scored 11 of his 13 points in the opening half, and Ryan Porter 10 of his 12.

Dan Carlin led the Trojans in the third stanza scoring eight points, while Dustin Turner and Mark McDermott split a dozen down the middle.

Carlin led Greene with 15 points, Turner had 12, and McDermott 11. “They went to a press in the third quarter and we turned it over 11 times,” said B-G coach Ben Nelson.
