NORWICH – The Chenango County Big Brothers / Big Sisters program will hold its annual fundraiser Saturday at Plaza Lanes in Norwich, and with more prizes and incentives than ever before, BB/BS is hoping for a record breaking year.

From noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, BB/BS will hold the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. The event has been a tradition in Chenango County for over 20 years. Volunteers are invited to gather teams of five people and get donations or pledges to support their team. Prizes will be awarded to the teams who raise the most money.

The grand prize will be a hot air balloon ride for two. The second prize will be a Nintendo Wii game system with a sports package and an extra controller, and the third place prize will be a portable GPS system. In addition, any participant who raises more than $250 will be entered for the chance to win a 32 inch, flat screen television.
