NORWICH – A Norwich man was arrested early Wednesday morning for the alleged forcible rape of a 15-year-old girl in the city.

Myron K. Frasier, 42, of Beebe Avenue, was arrested at 5:07 a.m. by Norwich Police Officers over an incident that allegedly took place at around 10 p.m. last night. Frasier was charged with first degree rape and first degree criminal sexual act.

Police said the charges involved Frasier allegedly threatening the teen with immediate harm. Under New York State law, a charge of rape in the first degree depends upon the victim being physically forced or compelled with threats of violence.
